well, solids are more solulable at higher temperatures because there is more space inbetween the molecules for the solute particles to fit into and get dissolved. and as for the gases, im not exactly sure WHY ther arent soluble in high temp but i know the ideal conditions for them to be soluble are LOW TEMP and HIGH PRESSURE. think soda. its more bubbly when cold and when the cap is on because the pressure is building up.
