Qustion about getting braces?

I'm a damn 31 year old male, and had braces as a youngster but have noticed some of the teeth have gone back to how they were before. Does anyone think its odd for an adult male to get braces again. I just don't want to have problems when I'm 40 or so. I guess I can get the clear ones right. I'm pretty self conscious about it. Elaborate please.
