Tips for a picky eater dog?

Dogs are famous for manipulating their owners and l experienced this many many years ago when a hd a female that refused to eat for nearly a week and l was frantic.Dogs do NOT starve and in fact when hungry they will eat if they have a set pattern ie set feed time in the evening without diverging from this.Place the food down and leave it down for no more than 15-20 minutes and if your pet does not eat take it away and do NOT give it something else it is playing on your sympathy and obviously you can check by offering some human food much later on and if your dog eats that that will prove tp you she wants human food not dig food.l know its hard seeing a dog not eat but you have to be strong,As for diet try and vary it a little so one days its a type of cerole with dry another day some beef mince and another day some tinned food and your pup will never know what to expect,No dog can live on just dry food it is boring and not that nutritious so cary the diet within reason as at present she is eating better than you.Many people simply feed dry food and nothing else and if you intend doing this its your choice and l can ure you the dog will eat eventually as dogs do not starve.l have many dogs and still vary their diets it is more work but it makes them happy and they are in good condition as most are show dogs.
