Can you believe this?!?!?

So this guy was really really into me for the longest time talking about how he missed me, jokingly asked me to marry him, was talking about us moving away, and said if i ever needed a place to stay I could stay in his new apartment that he just got. Then I called him on being flaky one day and I said it nicely and he got mad and started cutting me off saying "i'm not your boyfriend" over and over and "you can't be mad cuz I don't like you that way". Then I said some nasty things that I shouldn't have said, but immediately the next day I SEVERLY apologized to which he called my phone 3 times in a row immediately and on the 3rd phone call he left this nasty voicemail saying that he didn't care what happened to me, wants nothing to do with me, and just die and to not text or call anymore...which I didn't. Why did he call my ex-husband 4 days later chatting it up with him about how he's doing and admitting to my husband that he went overboard?
